What we store on your device across the Frostique websites, shop dashboards and the white-label storefronts we host for Shops — and how to control it.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. They help the site work, remember your choices, and let us understand usage. We also use similar technologies — local storage and pixels — and this policy covers all of them.
Cookies may be "session" (deleted when you close the browser) or "persistent" (kept for a set period), and may be set by us ("first-party") or by our service providers ("third-party"). This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the platform to function: signing in to the shop dashboard, keeping an End Customer’s cart and checkout session on a storefront, security and fraud prevention including trial-abuse prevention, and load balancing. These cannot be switched off through our banner.
- Functional — remember preferences such as language, selected branch and dashboard settings, so you do not have to set them again each visit.
- Analytics — help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it: pages visited, features used, errors encountered. These run only where consent is required and given.
- Payment — our payment partners may set cookies during checkout for security, session integrity and fraud prevention: Razorpay for subscriptions and autopay-mandate setup, Cashfree for online payments on storefronts. These are governed by their own policies.
3. The cookies we set
The list below reflects the current build, and is updated as the platform changes:
- frq_session — strictly necessary, first-party. Dashboard and storefront login session. Duration: session.
- frq_cart — strictly necessary, first-party. Holds an End Customer’s cart on a storefront. Duration: up to 7 days.
- frq_prefs — functional, first-party. Language, branch and interface preferences. Duration: up to 6 months.
- Analytics cookies — third-party, set by our analytics provider for usage statistics. Duration: as set by that provider.
- Razorpay and Cashfree cookies — third-party, set during checkout (Razorpay for subscriptions, Cashfree for storefront orders) for payment security and fraud prevention. Duration: per the provider.
4. Managing cookies
Where required, we show a consent banner letting you accept or decline non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings in that banner.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, or browse in private mode, which clears everything when you close the window. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in, carts and checkout.
5. Changes
We may update this policy as the platform evolves; the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
